Aston Martin DB9 7-Slat Grille Support Kit

Restore the support behind your DB9’s seven-bar grille with the Aston Martin DB9 7-Slat Grille Support Kit. Designed for the original seven-slat arrangement, these replacement uprights address brittle, broken or missing plastic supports while retaining your existing horizontal bars.

Why replace ageing supports?

The vertical supports locate the horizontal grille slats. Deterioration can put those components at risk, and individual original grille parts can be difficult to obtain. Replacing failing supports is useful preventative maintenance as well as a repair.

• Strengthened carbon-fibre reinforced polymer design: functional replacements developed around the areas that need support.
• Repair to suit the damage: choose one numbered upright or a complete set.
• Stainless replacement hardware: applicable supplied fixings are A2 stainless steel.

Ageing plastic can also crack when rusted mild-steel fixings seize during dismantling, allowing the removal force to load or pull apart the support.

Count your horizontal slats

For VH Aston Martin DB9 models fitted with a 7-slat / 7-bar grille. Check the grille physically fitted before ordering, even on an earlier DB9: registration year does not account for later replacements or modifications.

Have five horizontal bars? Choose the DB9 & DBS 5-Slat Grille Support Kit. These two support systems are not interchangeable.

Individual support or Full Set?

Select the required position 1–7 using the product diagram. A single support suits a local repair; we recommend the Full Set when refurbishing an ageing grille. If one upright has become brittle, the rest are of similar age and exposure. Replacing them together can avoid repeating the job later, although another failure is not inevitable.

What's included

• Individual: one selected carbon-fibre reinforced polymer grille support, plus the A2 stainless hardware applicable to its position.
• Full Set: all seven vertical supports and applicable A2 stainless hardware.
• Your existing horizontal grille bars are retained; new bars are not supplied.

Material and appearance

The supports are manufactured from high-strength, carbon-fibre reinforced engineering polymer. Their dark grey/black colour and slightly revised shape differ from the factory plastic parts. The design prioritises functional support, with painting an option for owners seeking a closer match to surrounding components.

Fitment and support

Dispatch and delivery
