Test sequence and decision path
1. Connect the WDS and confirm that P0770, or
P2706 is logged.
2. Clear the logged codes. Start the engine.
3. Press each of the gear selection (P, R, N, D) buttons in turn. Check that each switch telltale lamp
comes on, indicating that the selected gear mode
has been succesfully engaged.
4. Check for logged DTCs. If any of the above codes
are logged again, replace the mechatronic unit.
Open the corresponding manual page for wiring diagrams and figures
P2706 is logged.
