P2111 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Throttle stuck open
P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Throttle stuck closed.

Test sequence and decision path
1. Connect the WDS and check that P2111 or
P2112 is logged. Note all logged DTCs and also
note which PCM has recorded the P2111/P2112
fault.
2. Disconnect the air trunking from both throttle
bodies. Ignition on. Observe the throttle plates
whilst a colleague presses and releases the throttle pedal several times.
If the throttle plates do accurately follow pedal
movement, go to step 3.
If either throttle plate does not accurately follow
pedal movement, go to step 4.
3. Check the security and connections of the throttle
position sensor on the affected engine bank.
If the sensor is loose or poorly connected, service
as necessary. Clear the fault code and run a KOER
test to ensure that the problem is resolved.
If the sensor is correctly mounted and connected,
go to step 5.
4. Swap the throttle bodies bank to bank and repeat
the throttle movement test.
If the fault swaps to the other engine bank,
replace the faulty throttle body. Clear the fault
code and run a KOER test to ensure that the
problem is resolved.
If the fault remains on the same engine bank,
service the throttle harness as necessary. Clear the
fault code and run a KOER test to ensure that the
problem is resolved.
5. Using datalogger, monitor the TP and throttle
motor drive signals for both engine banks during
a KOER test.
If no fault is detected, go to step 6.
If a fault is detected, service the throttle system as
necessary. Clear the fault code and run a KOER
test to ensure that the prblem is resolved.
6. Check the PCM hardware and software levels.
Replace or reflash as necessary to ensure the latest levels. Run a KOER test to ensure that the
problem is resolved.
If P2111 or P2112 is logged again, contact Aston
Martin Technical Support.
Open the corresponding manual page for wiring diagrams and figures
P2112 is logged. Note all logged DTCs and also
note which PCM has recorded the P2111/P2112
fault.
