P1934 - Wheel speed signal failure - Sensor short

Test sequence and decision path
1. Connect the WDS and record all logged DTCs.
Ensure that P1934 is logged.
2. Raise the vehicle on a ‘wheels free’ ramp. Set the
datalogger to monitor all wheel speed sensor signals.
3. Ignition on. Spin each wheel and check for a corresponding wheel speed signal from each wheel
in turn as it is rotated.
If all wheel speed signals are correct, go to step 4.
If any wheel speed signal is missing/defective,
service the sensor and wiring as necessary. Clear
the fault code and run the sensor check agan to
ensure that the problem is resolved.
4. Physically examine all wheel speed sensor wiring
for signs of trapping, wear, chafing, etc.
If no defects are identified, go to step 5.
If any defect is identified, service the wiring as
necessary. Clear the P1934 code and run a brief
road test to ensure that the problem is resolved.
5. Using the WDS, access the ABS controller. Read
all logged fault codes and check for the following:
Code Sensor Fault
0010 Front Left Short Circuit
0020 Front Right Short Circuit
0030 Rear Left Short Circuit
0040 Rear Right Short Circuit
If none of the above codes are logged, the cause
of the P1934 is not present at this time. Clear the
logged DTC from the primary PCM and run a
road test to ensure that no faults remain in the
ABS system.
If any of the above codes is logged, service the
sensor or wiring as necessary. Clear the logged
DTC in the primary PCM and run a brief road test
to ensure that the problem is resolved.

Ensure that P1934 is logged.
