P1605 - TCM Battery Buffered RAM Fault.

Test sequence and decision path

1. Connect the WDS and confirm that P1605 is
logged. Clear the P1605 code.

2. Access the transmission connector C0932.

3. Switch on the ignition and check for 12 volts
(VBATT) at C0932 pin 14 on the harness connector.
If 12 volts is measured, check for a damaged pin
on C0932 gearbox connector and service if
necessary. If the pin is good, go to step 4.
If less than 12 volts is measured, check boot fuse
F12 and the VBATT circuit. Service as necessary.
Run a KOEO test to ensure that the problem is
resolved.

4. Reflash the TCM and run a KOEO test to see if the
problem is solved.
If P1605 is logged again, consult Aston Martin
Technical Support.
