CAUTION: This code may be generated in the
Primary or Secondary Powertrain Control Module
(PCM).

Test sequence and decision path

1. Connect the WDS and confirm that P1585 or
P1587 is logged. Note all Logged DTCs and then
clear the DTC memory.

2. Run the engine at a variety of throttle openings,
then check if P1585 or P1587 is logged again.
If neither code is logged again, conduct an
extended engine run test to ensure that the
problem is not repeated.
If either code is logged again, consult Aston
Martin Technical Support.
