P1463 - A/C pressure sensor, insufficient pressure
change.

Test sequence and decision path

1. Connect the WDS and confirm that P1463 is
logged.

2. Key on. Run the engine until fully warmed up and
switch the A/C on. Disconnect the pressure sensor connector. Check the voltage between A/C
pressure sensor connector C1257-5 and chassis
ground.
If +12 volts is measured, go to step 4.
If less than 12 volts is measured, go to step 3.

3. Repeat the voltage check at aircon module connector C0791-6.
If +12 volts is measured, service the wiring from
C0791-6 to C1257-5. Clear the P1463 code.
If less than +12 volts is measured, replace the A/C
control module.
Reconnect the A/C pressure sensor and run brief
road test with A/C on to ensure that the problem
is resolved.

4. Repeat the voltage check at pressure sensor connector C1257-2.
If less than +12 volts is measured, recover the
refrigerant. Replace the pressure sensor. Refill the
refrigerant and clear the P1463 code. Run a brief
road test with A/C on to check that the problem is
resolved.
If +12 volts is measured, go to step 5.

5. Connect the breakout box to the primary PCM.
Repeat the voltage check at C0635-15.
If less than +12 volts is measured, service the
wiring from the pressure sensor to the PCM
If +12 volts is measured, contact Aston Martin
Technical Support.
