NOTE: These fault codes will be logged if the relevant
switch has been actuated continuously for more than
30 seconds.

Test sequence and decision path

1. Connect the WDS and confirm that either P0812,
P081C, P081D or P0853 is logged.

2. Check the relevant button for jamming or for
incorect operation.
If there is evidence of incorrect operation, advise
the driver on the cause of the problem. Clear the
fault code and have the driver test the vehicle for
correct operation.
If the button shows any sign of jamming, service
the button as necessary. Clear the fault code and
test the button for correct operation to ensure that
the problem is resolved.
